Hugo Fay’s last assignment (September 2006) was for Metaphorm, a group of City of London architects entrusted with producing an audio-visual investor pitch for a multi-billion dollar building project in the Middle East. The narrative required cultural and political sensitivity, a poetic/philosophical style backed by a subtle, almost undetectable sales pitch – not an easy task when the aim is to encourage investors to part with a few tens of millions of dollars! The solution was to stop thinking in terms of hard sell and instead target the hearts and minds of potential investors… get inside their skin and lure them into a fascinating and dynamic project.
