Hugo Fay was a journalist and BBC broadcaster for twenty years, spending much of his time at the BBC World Service producing documentaries and live current affairs programmes on international issues. He has reported and compiled documentaries from five continents for the BBC and several international news agencies.

He turned to screenwriting ten years ago and researched his first script MOTHER COCA in the Amazon and the Andes while freelance reporting for the BBC and acting as observer on a UK Human Rights tour of Colombia. His scriptwriting has taken him to South America, Southeast Asia, the US and Ancient Greece!

Hugo also writes documentary film scripts for National Geographic Television, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Canal Plus and many other broadcasters and independent productions companies. His writing spans entertainment, documentary and copywriting and Hugo is in demand as a script consultant for features and TV.
